● About Insurance

For backcountry tours, we require mountain or hiking insurance (insurance that covers search costs). Please be sure to purchase in advance. Tours will not be conducted without mountain rescue insurance. Insurance available in Japan is only for those with addresses in Japan. If you are from overseas, please be sure to purchase rescue insurance in your home country and email a photo of the certificate.

● About Payment

Payment is required before the tour. Reservation will be confirmed after payment.

● About Guides

The guide available on the day will accompany you. Please note that English level is not perfect. Please apply with your understanding.

● Cancellation Charges for Customer Convenience

50% of the participation fee will be charged from 7 days to 3 days before the tour date, and 100% of the participation fee will be charged from 2 days before to the day of the tour. We are very sorry to charge a cancellation fee. Please consider your participation date carefully before applying. We will arrange guides about one week in advance, so a cancellation fee will definitely be charged.

● Cancellation due to bad weather

We will try to make a decision by the day before, but if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather or for reasons on the organizer's side, the participation fee will be fully refunded. However, for online advance payments, a 4% handling fee will be deducted from the refund. Please understand. Also, if the tour is decided to be cancelled after the tour has started, there will be no refund.

● Notes

For lift access, lift fees will be charged locally. If it is within the Hakuba Valley area, you do not need to pay for the guide. For other ski resorts, please pay for the guide. If you use a taxi when descending, please share the cost among all participants. Unforeseen events can occur in nature. Guides will predict and eliminate dangers with safety as the top priority, but nothing is 100% safe. Customers must also strictly observe safety first and participate in the tour with an awareness of self-responsibility. Please be sure to follow the guide's instructions in the mountains. Please understand that the guide has all the authority to change routes and cancel. If the guide determines that a guest is unable to ski in the mountains due to lack of technical skills after the tour has started, they will be asked to descend before entering the mountains or wait in the mountains. In the unlikely event of an accident or illness during the tour, we may ask customers to help with rescue, and if something similar happens to another party, we will prioritize rescue over the tour. In the event of damage due to accidents or illness in the mountains, all responsibility will be attributed to the individual unless the guide's intent or gross negligence is recognized, and please understand that we will not be responsible beyond first aid or beyond insurance coverage.
